Singers stage unannounced performance of new collaboration
Japanese singers Misono and Kumi Koda staged a surprise performance outside Shinjuku railway station yesterday (March 31st).
The pair, who are sisters, sang their new collaboration, It's All Love, attracting a crowd of around 5,000 fans and spectators, reports Japan Today.
According to the singers, the song is based on the end of Misono's relationship with her boyfriend.
Misono commented: "It's a true story. The lyrics include what I said to Kumi just after the break-up. Men tell lies. I hate that."
Kumi released her debut studio album Affection in 2002 and scored her first number single in 2005 with the release of You.
She has starred in the 2006 film, Cherry Girl.
Meanwhile, Misono was originally in the lead singer in the pop group Day After Tomorrow.
Following its disbanding, she made her debut as a solo artist in 2006.
