Wanderlust - Graeme Green
Graeme travelled to Hokkaido in February keen to experience winter festivals such as the Sapporo Snow Festival, rare wildlife and stunning snow-scapes that the northern island has to offer. The area is known for some of the best winter sports in the world, but there is so much more sub-zero culture and adventure to be had. Graeme writes about his experience at the famous snow festival and some of the smaller ones, as well as Japanese cranes, snow shoeing and husky sledding - one way of keeping warm.
