The Guardian- Liz Boulter
Liz flew around 1500 miles south of Tokyo to the Yaeyama Islands in the Okinawa subtropics. She relaxed on the white sand beaches of Ishigaki, rode water-buffalo drawn cart around the tiny island of Taketomi and explored the jungle island of Iriomote. All quite different to you usual image of Japan.
