Man arrested after suicide-murder attempt
A man in Tokyo has been arrested after recovering from an incident involving murder and an attempt at suicide.
Arrested by police officials today after recovering from the incident, Masao Enari now faces accusations of attempted and actual murder, reports Mainichi Daily News.
Mr Enari is the current president of a Tokyo-based company specialising in book binding.
The arrest relates to an incident on March 28th that has left his two sons injured and his wife and parents dead.
It has been reported that after the attacks, Mr Enari attempted to take his own life.
"I did it after my business went under and I was worried about my future," said Mr Enari.
It is also been reported that Mr Enari was having financial difficulties prior to the attacks.
In related news, the Japan Times reported that new measures have been introduced for the interrogation of suspects, following a series of recent conviction errors in Japan.
