Lady Gaga for first stadium concert in Japan
Internationally renowned superstar Lady Gaga is to hold her first stadium concert in Japan this August, with the singer set to perform at Chiba QVC Marine Field as part of her world tour.
The musician is promising "a space dance party" in the vein of her new album Venus, adding that the show will be "a very exciting mix of music, fashion and technology" that is sure to appeal to the Japanese people.
Famed for pop hits including Paparazzi, Poker Face and Bad Romance, Lady Gaga last played a concert in Japan in 2012, where she appeared onstage with four life-size dolls resembling her.
"They look so much like me," she said during a news conference held in Tokyo's famous Roppongi shopping and entertainment district. "I respect your art and the detail you put into the dolls."
Her 63-date world tour will commence in the US on March 28th before going around the world.
