Rain announces Japan gig
K-pop fans will be celebrating this week as popular singer Rain has announced he will be returning to Japan next month for his first tour since serving his 21-month national service period.
As one of the biggest names in the industry and with a huge following across much of Asia and beyond, Rain's stint in Japan will no doubt garner plenty of media attention.
The 31-year-old, whose real name is Jung Ji-Hoon, will kick off his tour in Nagoya with two concerts starting November 14th, before moving on to visit Fukuoka, Osaka and Tokyo.
Management agency Cube DC said that the event will be entitled: "The 2013 Rain Zepp Tour: Story of Rain".
Rain made headlines while on his national service after it emerged he had to be confined to a barracks for a week when he sneaked out to meet TV drama star Kim Tae-Hee.
Visit one of Japan's many karaoke bars to experience the country's enthusiasm for K-pop, which is performed with gusto by many a squiffy barfly.
