Princess Kako to visit America for a month in August
American citizens may be excited to learn that they will have royalty in their midst in August as Japan's Princess Kako is set to stay in Massachusetts for an entire month.
The 18-year-old, who is the daughter of Prince Akishino and the granddaughter of Emperor Akihito, will begin her stay on August 3rd, returning to Japan on September 4th.
NTV reported that she will be staying at an acquaintance of the prince and his wife, Princess Kiko and suggested that she would be living at the house of a Harvard professor.
It's possible the princess may be apprehensive about her visit as it will be the first time she has visited a country without other members of her family.
After graduating from Gakushuin Girls' High School in Tokyo in April 2007, the princess spent time at Trinity College, Dublin, studying English. In April 2013, she began life as a student at Gakush?in University.
