The musician, who is nearing his 73rd birthday, last performed in the country in 2010, with next year's tour marking the seventh time he has entertained there.
Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka and Sapporo will receive the pop star, with performances starting from March 21st in the capital before Dylan moves to Sapporo on April 13th, Nagoya on the 17th, Fukuoka on the 19th and Osaka on the 21st.
He is known throughout the world for his anthems including Like a Rolling Stone, Blowin' in the Wind and The Times They Are a-Changin', which were snapped up by US civil rights movements.
