Tokyo Marathon

Join 30,000 runners on Tokyo's fantastic marathon course, tried and tested by our very own Harry Sargant!

With 36,000 runners, 10,000 volunteers and almost 2 million people lining the streets, the Tokyo marathon is a huge spectacle. The race, which first ran in 2007, starts from the Shinjuku government building and takes in the historic Asakusa district, the bay side Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower and Meiji Shrine. InsideJapan?s very own Harry Sargant successfully completed the race in 2008.

Participation in the Tokyo marathon is on a lottery basis. InsideJapan can bypass this however with a guaranteed registration and accommodation package. Please contact us for further details.
