Powder snow simply doesn't get better than this! Come and enjoy a week exploring the slopes of Niseko, Hokkaido's ultimate winter sports resort. Amazing powder, acres of backcountry and the best in Japanese and international cuisine and hospitality. Read more >
If you have heard of just one winter sport resort in Japan, it is bound to be Niseko. And for good reason! Niseko is Hokkaido's (and perhaps all of Japan's) premier winter sports resort. Niseko's holy trinity of selling points are its sheer size, the snow itself (quality, quantity and reliability!), and its foreigner-friendly facilities and setup.
More than any other resort in Japan, Niseko has opened its doors to overseas skiers and boarders (particularly from Australia), and now provides the perfect mixture of western familiarity and comfort, with a sprinkling of Japanese atmosphere. Add in some fanastic light-up night skiing (included with the pass we provide) and you have got a great resort for a really fun winter holiday.
A one-night stay in Tokyo bookends your 6 nights in Niseko. You will be based in the amazing Shinjuku district of Tokyo, with the best of modern Japan on your doorstep. Shinjuku is also the place to celebrate the start and end of your holiday in style, with Tokyo's biggest and best selection of restaurants, bars and entertainment.
The journey to and from Niseko is by domestic flight, then a bus transfer to head up into the mountains. With 6 nights on the slopes you will have 5 full days to enjoy over 40km of runs, plus some of Japan's best off-piste and backcountry skiing. By night Niseko comes to life, with a great village atmosphere and bars and restaurants offering everything from traditional Japanese to a taste of home, wherever you are from!
Love your winter sports but looking for somewhere different this year? Travelled to Japan before for sightseeing and yearn to return, but don't want to miss out on your annual ski holiday? Niseko is the place for you - don't miss out!
Snow season in Japan: We highly recommend travelling between December 25th and March 15th to be sure to get the best ski and 'boarding conditions - the snow is amazing! We are happy to arrange travel outside of these dates but cannot guarantee snow conditions.
