In Japan Entertainment News,
Katy Perry song inspired by Japan
International superstar Katy Perry has revealed that her favourite song on her new album Prism was inspired by her travels around Japan.
She added that the birthplace of the piece should offer a clue as to the performance stylings she uses during the live performance of the song.
Japanese enthusiasts are delighted at the news that their country features so prominently in Perry's work, particularly as she will stop off in Japan on her Prism tour after she has visited America and Amsterdam.
"I am probably not going to be able to tell you what day of the week it is or what time it is because I will have lived in so many different time zones," she told Japan Today in a phone interview.
Perry is not the only international superstar to have a tour in Japan this year, with Sir Paul McCartney currently performing in Tokyo.
The ex-Beatle took some time off yesterday (November 14th) to take in a sumo show with his wife Nancy Shevell.
