Japan's largest arts festival kicks off in Tokyo next weekend (November 9th ) with tickets now on sale for many of the events.
Festival 2013 will feature a wide spectrum of performances, allowing tourists to glean an invaluable insight into the Japanese art scene.
The two-week event has developed a more international feel over the years, with the opportunity to experience plays from Korea and Germany as well.
While many of the performances will be in Japanese or with Japanese subtitles, English summaries will be provided so that as many people as possible can enjoy this incredible celebration.
Festival 2013 will run from November 9th until December 8th at six venues including the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, the Owl Spot Theatre and the Nishi-Sugamo Arts Factory. Single tickets cost 2,000 yen (£12.50).
