Tokyo to play host to Joy of Sake
The Joy of Sake festival will return to Tokyo after a long absence from the motherland, during which it has crossed the world in order to spread the love of this quintessentially Japanese drink.
Featuring a whopping 384 beverages in every brewing style imaginable, as well as appetisers from 14 top French, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and Italian restaurants, the event will have an international flavour despite its highly traditional roots.
As well as the food and drink delights on offer, attendees can also expect an appearance from the newly-elected Miss Sake herself - a not-to-be-missed experience.
Tourists eager to participate in the event should show up at the TOC Building in Gotanda on November 7th from 6pm.
Be sure to drink your sake the Japanese way. Choose your vessel carefully and pour the liquid into someone else's glass before allowing them to do the same for you.
