Tokyo to host film stars next week
Movie fanatics in the city of Tokyo are in for a treat next week as a number of Hollywood superstars are set to visit the Japanese capital in order to promote their latest films.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard, Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruhl will be seen out and about in the Japanese capital as the release dates for their various films draw nearer.
DiCaprio's The Wolf of Wall Street is generating particularly strong press attention, with the 39-year-old set to walk down the red carpet at Roppongi Hills shopping centre on January 29th.
Meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth and director Ron Howard are in Tokyo at the same time to promote their new film Rush, which is set to open in Japan on February 7th.
Tokyo has long attracted stars of the stage and screen, who often travel there to promote their films as they go out across the world.
Most recently, Keanu Reeves made headlines when he visited the city to promote his new film The 47 Ronin, based on an old Japanese legend.
