1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
Andrew curated a near perfect one-month itinerary for us, taking account of the fact that we had visited Japan several times previously and wanted to explore outside the main tourist areas to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The detail of our personalised itinerary was precise, ensuring that travel between multiple destinations went smoothly. The team on the ground in Japan were very responsive to our various inquiries and were quick to check on our well being when an earthquake struck northern Japan during our last week there.

All worked very well.

6. Please comment on any professional guiding included in your package?
The best guides were in Nagasaki, in Kagoshima for the tea tour and for the fishing trip in Matsushima Bay. We didn't warm so much to the guide from Nagoya Isn't Boring (feint praise ...), and the guide in Gujo Hachiman was a bit nutty. We would have preferred to look around on our own.

Travelling in Japan isn't easy, even for people who have been several times. Having the detailed plan, accommodation and internal travel pre arranged, along with multiple suggestions of places to visit, where to eat etc (though the destination guides were not tailored to our particular preferences), was fundamental to our enjoyment of the trip.
