What our customers have to say...
The most important thing we can do to improve our service is listen to what our customers have to say, which is why you can now read their comments unedited on our website.
Upon returning from Japan all our clients are sent a review form and this is where you can see what they are saying about their experience of Japan and of our service.

1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
The service was excellent with a few minor exceptions. There was a great combination of large and small cities, time spent with guides and time self directed. The availability of IT transit cards and Internet accessibiity with PuPuRu device was indispensable. Your Trip Info packet and destination guides for each location were outstanding.

5. Please give us your comments on the transport included in your package.
1. We were unsure of what stop to get off during the train from Kanazawa to Tokyo. Options included Ueno and Tokyo stations. We did not understand that our ticket also allowed us to take another train to ShinJuko- This should have been described better, Even our tickets did not show this. 2. The bus transportation in Hakone was a mystery to us. The Ryokan management was not helpful in telling us where to catch the bus to see the sites as they had limited English ability. We relied on Americans in the street to direct us. We ended the day in Moto Hakone and were baffled how to get back to the Ryokan. After waiting for 1 hour for a bus we were told our IT cards did not work so we ultimately took a taxi back. A better description of the bus service is necessary. 3. The train connection from Kyoto to Tsuruga on April 6th was too tight - the train from Hiroshima to Kyoto was late (by about 20-30 minutes) so we missed the connection to train from Kyoto to Tsuruga. I would give more leeway between connections. 4. The IT cards were excellent but should come with a directive that only cash is accepted in the IT refill machines. We spent 30 minutes trying unsuccessfully to get a credit card into the machine!!

6. Please comment on any professional guiding included in your package?
1. Meg in Tokyo 3/25 was very informative, knowledgeable and pleasant and explained the Japanese culture and transportation systems to us. 2. Yappy was great in Tokyo showing us the fish markets and providing us with great food including the biggest most delicious oyster I have ever eaten provided by the Tuna Princess!! He was a lot of fun. 3. Megumi was our cooking instructor in Tokyo 3/27- We all had a great and memorable time cooking our multiple course lunch. A great introduction to Japanese cuisine that helped us through the trip order food. 4. The tea ceremony at Camelia Flower Teahouse was a bit dry and unfriendly and less informative than it could have been. There were alot of people and it felt like we were being hearded in and out. Not worth the cost. 5. Peter MacIntosh was outstanding as our guide to Geisha Gion district in Kyoto. He had an outstanding knowledge of the geisha culture and led a spirited tour. 6. Ryota ,our guide in Kyoto, had a difficult time with English but more importantly had a limited amount of information to share with regards to what we were seeing. An example of misunderstanding was when he put us in 2 cabs unattended at the end of the day back to our hotel and told us that the trip was paid for only to find we had to pay the fare. We even volunteered to take the subway. Would consider another tour guide. 7. Junko, our guide in Kanazawa, was outstanding and very informative and connected to the places she showed us. I did not like the Buddhist museum (Suzuki) as it was devoid of educational material and boring, not worth the time.
