All the arrangements were very efficient. The success of the tour was significantly enhanced by the Tour Leader Finn Sands-Davies, who was excellent. His knowledge of Japan and Japanese history, together with his ability to bring the sightseeing alive and keep us all amused was the critical success factor.

Two big Japanese feasts on successive nights in Kinosaki onsen was one too many one on the first night would be sufficient. Otherwise all the meals were excellent.
