Fifa Club World Cup '08 - Fans' Travel
As European champions, Manchester United have qualified for the tournaments semi final stage with their first game taking place on the 18th December in Yokohama. It is expected that the English footballing giants will take their place in the final hoping to become club world champions as they did in 1999 after they beat Brazilian giants Palmeiras with a single Roy Keane goal. This yearís opposition teams are yet to be confirmed but the competition has been graced with the worlds most famous teams with Milan beating Argentinaís Boca Juniors in last years final, Brazilís Internacional beating Barcelona the previous year and Unitedís English rivals Liverpool being beaten by Sao Paulo in 2005. Manchester United will be hoping to win the tournament and add the first bit of silverware to the cabinet this season.
