Winner of Best Small Tour Operator Award
The Guardian newspaper travel award winners were revealed in the annual event which took place on the 9th October with InsideJapan Tours winning the highly prized ‘Best Small Tour Operator’ 2010.
Guardian readers voted for the awards in which InsideJapan Tours gained an impressive 99.6% ‘excellent’ satisfaction rating in the voting which was then confirmed by the Guardian travel team of experts. The awards ceremony was held at Cardiff Castle and was presented by the BBC’s Huw Edwards who as well as presenting the award to InsideJapan Tours, also presented an award for ‘Best International City’ to Tokyo to the Japan National Tourism Organisation.
The double award for Japan highlights the growing popularity of this unique destination and shows that more and more people are looking for something a bit different to their usual holiday. It is great news that travellers have been inspired by Japan to vote for Tokyo as Best International City and are keen to show their satisfaction with the services of InsideJapan Tours by voting for IJT at the awards.
2010 has seen InsideJapan Tours win the Sunday Times Travel ‘Best Value Tour Operator’ award as well as the recent Guardian award and are finalists in the upcoming British Travel Awards. These highly prized travel industry accolades underline the success and professionalism of InsideJapan in their tenth year of business. There will be a Guardian Travel Awards special in this Saturday’s Guardian newspaper (16th October).
