1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
Overall, everything was fantastic! Service was outstanding. All went so smoothly!!! Our expectations were exceeded at every location. It was a nice mix of urban and non-urban locations. The info guides were very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour in Sendai. We have been steadfast about doing self-guided travel, but our food tour guide provided so much insight that could not be easily obtained from books or other materials, that we now think some kind of similar experience should be part of our future travel. We greatly appreciated the info guides at each location. There were a few days that people had different interests in a location. We were easily able to separate and see the things that truly interested us, then meet up again later.

My travel consultants changed overtime but I felt there was good continuity so there were no concerns at all. Everyone worked well with me to understand my hopes and needs on this trip.

Excellent! Our airport van turned out to be private service which was a very nice surprise.

6. Please comment on any professional guiding included in your package?
Our guide in Tokyo, Miki Takanaka, and our bar guide in Sendai, Yuko, were outstanding. They were outgoing and very insightful. Our guide in Nikko, Junko Otani, is more shy and quiet, so harder to connect with her initially. For the early part of our tour, it was hard to learn more information than what we could read on our own. It took her some time to feel comfortable with us and to really start sharing information with us. She needs to start with explanations immediately.

9. Would you travel again with InsideJapan Tours?
Yes
I probably would not go back to Japan as this most recent one was my third trip. However, I am hoping to go to Korea next year with my Korean parents. My sister and I hope to utilize Inside Asia. However, my parents who were born and raised in Korea where they lived until they were almost 30 years old, unfortunately believe they can explain everything we would see and believe they can easily navigate transportation there on there own. My parents have not lived in Korea for more than 50 years and so much has changed. My sister and I are in a slow battle to convince them otherwise.
