1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
We are well travelled but chose, for the first time, a small group tour. We loved having all the logistics sorted out for us. It took away any stress! It was of great benefit to have the expertise about Japan and it’s culture shared with us.

5. How would you rate the accommodation against your expectations?
The hotel in Kotohira exceeded our expectations. The other hotels were fine. Some had much nicer breakfast offerings than others, but there was always something we enjoyed.

Great! A good mix of private and public which helped us feel like we were really travelling and not just being carted around in a tour bus!

7. Please tell us your thoughts on the meals included during your tour.
The banquets in a couple of the hotels, and the bento lunch in Benesse House Museum were amazing. The other meals included were great as they gave us experiences of local cuisine, such as hot pot and locally sourced fish. We thoroughly enjoyed diving in to some ‘mystery food’ too!

We feel braver to explore Japan on our own now. Although, we valued the access that Inside Japan offered us to experiences that we may not be able to arrange ourselves.
