Ceramics tour with a gallery owner
Meet an expert in Japanese ceramics for a tour of Kyoto's pottery workshops
We are delighted to work with a specialist in Japanese ceramics who writes regularly about pottery for several publications and also runs his own gallery near Kyoto's Silver Temple, Ginkakuji. The expert will introduce you to a number of working potters in Kyoto, before guiding you to the well renowned Kawai and Kondo museums and a walk around the galleries and shops in the Kiyomizu area. If you have a particular special interest or request then please let us know. This is a fantastic chance to spend a day amidst the pottery of Kyoto with a true expert in his field.
