Sushi Masterclass
No other Japanese dish has made more of an impact on global cuisine, than sushi.
Loved throughout the world, sushi at first seems deceptively simple. But the type of rice grain, the ratio of vinegar and even the angle of the knife cutting the fish can create almost infinite variations to this dish.
In this sushi masterclass you'll learn from a chef with 46 years' experience. First, you'll take a quick tour the sushi restaurant and learn a bit about the history of sushi, before donning workwear and heading to the kitchen to make your own sushi with the freshest, seasonal fish. Then of course you'll get to enjoy the fruits of your labour.
This private lesson is 90 minutes. You'll get ten pieces of sushi per person, half made by the chef, half by your own hand. Please note that the sushi master does not speak much English, but an assistant will be on hand to translate throughout the experience.
