1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
The tour and our Tour Leader, Chuck, were both GREAT! Chuck was 5 and more. Everything was perfect in-country during the tour. He was organized, fun, and very knowledgeable. I especially enjoyed the cultural events that were part of the tour. Unfortunately,, the Travel Consultant, Tim, was not very helpful and a big disappointment to work with. He lacked detailed information about the tour (other than what I could read myself on the website), but most importantly, he did not provide planning help for our pre and post travel that we added through him and Inside Japan.

Chuck was wonderful. Organized, prompt, fun, super nice and VERY knowledgable about Japan. I couldn't ask for a better tour guide.

3. Consultant name and satisfaction rating:
Tim was not helpful in planning our pre and post travel at all. Emails were not answered, or partially answered. He didn't help us with planning our time pre/post tour. Once we booked the pre-hotel and post-hotel stays, specifics about the locations and how to enjoy the areas was non-existent. I was frustrated having to do planning research myself for the pre and post travel, after having booked with Inside Japan, a professional travel company for professional help.

The Kyoto accommodations exceeded my expectations, and all were very nice.

Traveling via train and by van with the tour guide, Chuck, during the tour worked great.

7. Please tell us your thoughts on the meals included during your tour.
The tour guide, Chuck, helped us choose meals which was very helpful. We had a great small tour group and the group dinners were very enjoyable both for the company and the wide selection of food ordered to share.

If I went again, I would want to stay a little longer in a couple of special locations rather than visiting many spots on a tour.
