1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
In the UK, Isobel was very helpful and booking was seamless. In Japan, we were very well looked after on a hectic schedule.

4. How would you rate your package in terms of value for money?

5. How would you rate the accommodation against your expectations?
we were warned about hotel rooms being on the small side by friends and relatives. However, we had lovely rooms - quite spacious, clean, airy and comfortable - in nice hotels (though the Nikko Hotel in Kanazawa is looking tired and needs a bit of updating). The ryokan provided us with very comfortable futons for a good nights sleep.

6. Please give us your comments on the transport included in your package.
Small bus a bit cramped, and wheel arches intruded into a couple of the seats, which meant your legs had to be pulled up. However, this was only used on short journeys locally, so not too much of a problem. The larger bus on longer distances was fine and the Shinkansen trains were great.

7. Please tell us your thoughts on the meals included during your tour.
Fergal took us to different places daily, for both lunch and dinner. We had a great time sampling everything, even though I'm not a great fan of sashimi. But there was a lot of choice, and we could get whatever we wanted for lunch. The inclusive dinners were a great experience of local izakayas, the Geisha evening dinner was superb, as was the Kaiseki and Teppanyaki dining experience.
