Our team at Inside Japan Tours
The sun never sets on the InsideJapan Tours team (well, maybe on Sundays) as we have offices in Bristol (UK), Broomfield, (USA), Brisbane (Australia) and Nagoya (Japan). On this page you can meet the people behind our Japan holidays and tours.
We have a wide range of backgrounds and interests, but you can be sure that the one thing that ties us all together is a love of Japan, Japanese culture and a passionate desire to share that with other people.
From the accounts department, through the travel consultant teams to the tour leaders and guides on the ground, you can rest assured that everything we do is to make sure you have the best possible experience of Japan.

As a second-generation Japanese American born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Brandon first made the move to Japan in 2018.
Filled with curiosity to learn more about his Okinawan roots, he spent his first three years on the JET Programme teaching English in the Okinawa Prefecture. During his time there, he learned a lot about the history, language, and gained a strong understanding of the culture as well as the traditions that he grew up practicing since he was a small child. This also gave him the opportunity to be closer with his Okinawan relatives in order to spend quality time with them.
After a few years in the Okinawa Prefecture, Brandon headed over to Osaka, where he currently resides. Being immersed in a completely different environment, culture, and spoken dialect gives him the chance to learn even more about Japan’s unique diversity. One of his favorite things to do on his free time is to go out on road trips to explore the off the beaten path. Discovering new things from the local area and meeting new people allows him to further expand his knowledge of Japan.
Brandon has always maintained an active lifestyle. He has taught stand-up paddle boarding to a vast amount of people over the years and continues to play in an amateur baseball league. He was also lucky enough to work alongside a baseball coach that had first-hand experience playing in Koshien, the nationwide high school baseball tournament. Brandon has found it so fascinating in how different and special the baseball culture is in Japan, and it sparked an interest to learn even more.
