1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
Our travel consultant, Sisi Fioritto, really took the time to listen to our desires. She planned a trip that incorporated all of our wish-list travel stops without over-scheduling us. The hotels were good, some great, with Western amenities our English-speaking tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and public transportation was easy to navigate without much knowledge of the Japanese language. Once in Japan, we were able to contact Inside Japan via What'sApp with any questions and concerns we had and get fast, friendly feedback within hours.

Sisi helped us in so many ways during the planning stage, reached out to us while we were in Japan, and got in touch after we returned home. The level of care and professionalism she provided was superb.

5. Please give us your comments on the transport included in your package.
Our train tickets were comprehensive and included assigned seating when possible. Our first guide Kazu helped us procure an IC card and navigate the subway and train system.

6. Please comment on any professional guiding included in your package?
Our guides were great. The energy levels and English-speaking abilities varied, but they were all professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, especially the expert guide for our architecture tour, Yoshi, who was also an architect, and Taka, who took us through Hiroshima and shared her passion for a non-nuclear world. We asked our guides everything, about the sites we saw, and also about culture and customs and everyday things that confused us or that we just wanted to know more about. I think a trip without guides would have been less rich in the cultural aspects of Japan.

I have never taken a self-guided tour before, and Japan is a great country to start in. It is safe and friendly, and the usual travel emergencies are not really evident. There are seemingly no thefts or crimes against visitors, and the large cities have many English speakers willing to help out. Inside Japan set us up for success, and the pope of Japan helped make the trip awesome.
