1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
Inside Japan was very helpful in putting together our trip. There was a slight issue with the Nakasendo highway which was difficult to book and we did not like the hotel we stayed in - it was of a much lower quality and the location was not good. It was certainly not in keeping with the amount of money we paid for our trip . The information we received before the trip was good - and the booklet was invaluable - it made travelling very easy. The free WIFI and the preloaded IC card are excellent touches. We also loved going to the Sumo tournament. Guidance on luggage forwarding was great. Staying on Miyajima island rather than in Hiroshima was a brilliant suggestion - it was one of the highlights of the holiday.

2. Consultant name and satisfaction rating:
Lucie was very good to work with and very responsive when we wanted or needed to change things. We ended up staying 2 nights in most places with 3 nights in Kyoto. Initially Lucy suggested only 1 night in Osaka and 2 nights in Tokyo. I think that would have been a mistake - I also wondered if 1 night in Hakone or Nakasendo would have been adequate but that may partly be due to the bad hotel in Nakasendo....

Taxis and trains were excellent. Having all our train tickets was great.

6. Please comment on any professional guiding included in your package?
Tokyo - charming but I felt he didn't particularly love the city himself and so didn't communicate anything special about it. Kyoto - Very good - took us to very interesting places Food tour in Kyoto - nice guide. The tour was good and we had some delicious food but nothing that we hadn't already or wouldn't have tried ourselves. Hiroshima. Very good guide - gave a lot of detail and information that we would probably not have managed without her.

Maybe
I would like to go to Japan again - perhaps revisit some places and try some places we didnt get to this time. I think I might well feel confident enough though to travel independently now I have been there. That said, I am sure Inside Japan would find us interesting places to go....
