1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
I have to say that I have founf Inside Japan to be very well organized. Jenny Yoakum was very helpful and quick to reply to some questions and concerns I had. Nicholas Mulheron was an excellent guide - very outgoing and courteous. Hidden Japan was a good name for the tour as we learned a lot about the history and culture of the country.

We had Nicholas as our guide on the Hidden Japan Tour. He was so enthusiastic and very aware of the culture and history of the country. He had to help somebody on the tour who was having a small medical problem, but was also able to make sure that the rest of the group was not impacted. It takes a special person to do that. Transporatation on boat, bus and train went very smoothly and Nicholas made sure we could see him and he kept us herded. He went out of his way to describe to types of food we were presented with on the tour. We will be asking for Nicholas again on our next visit and tour to Japan.

Jenny was ontop of everyting for the trip. She made sure we had submitted all our information for the trip and replied quickly to some questions I had about the Hidden Japan trip. She also made sure we had a pickup at the Osaka airport which was very helpful. It was great Inside Japan offered this service.

5. How would you rate the accommodation against your expectations?
Great accomodations for the price point. All breakfast were very good.

6. Please give us your comments on the transport included in your package.
Travelling by Tram, bus, boat and the bullet train were all great experiences of the trip. I liked that we were not on a bus the whole time.

7. Please tell us your thoughts on the meals included during your tour.
The food was certainly different in some cases, but that should be expected. There were a few things my wife and I did not eat, like whole fish on a stick and a large whole shrimp. We thought the food quality was very good. Also appreciated that we were being introduced to different local specialities. The lunch presentation at the Art Gallery on Naoshima was excellent. Nicholas was very helpfull to suggest places to go to eat on off days and gave detailed descriptions of some of the food we were presented with as part of the package.

First time to Japan and did the Hidden Japan tour. It was truely a cultural trip on the island of Shikoku, away from the three big cities. We have used a number of different tour companies and found Inside Japan to be a very organized and dedicated tour company. Staff made sure we had all our information submitted to them and sent us an excellent detailed itinerary and cultural document a few weeks before. We had Nicholas as our guide. He was so enthusiastic and very aware of the culture and history of the country. Transporatation on boat, bus and train went very smoothly and Nicholas made sure we could see him and he kept us herded. He went out of his way to describe to types of foods we were presented with on the tour. We are already talking about returning to Japan in the next year or two and using Inside Japan again.
