1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
Overall, we were extremely satisfied with both the planning phase and in-country support. The only negative comment is about our inn in Hakone. The inn personnel were not helpful and slow. Two examples: 1) We called for the shuttle to pick us up and the driver forgot about us. 2) We asked about arranging massages, and was told that the staff would call the therapists to see if it was possible. They were unable to arrange the massages (which was perfectly understandable), but failed to tell us that, resulting in us waiting in our room for a call rather than doing something else. Two notable exceptions were Enzo, an extremely helpful bellman/generalist, and the young woman who served us our dinner. Both were wonderful.
