1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
This was our third holiday with Inside Japan and we already have a fourth holiday booked. We love how organised Inside Japan is and the provided Info Pack is invaluable and used every day. Mark at Inside Japan is always able to put together an itinerary that suits our family and our budget. His insider ideas make for a much better holiday. We love that Inside Japan has people on the ground in Japan. We're grateful that the team in Japan has been able to help us quickly sort out problems on two occasions. We would have been flying blind, so to speak, without a travel agent to help us. Inside Japan also has wonderful private guides that have taken us on city tours and food tours. The guides are such wonderful people and provide a very high quality of service. The guides really add value to seeing a temple or a street and being able to further explain what you are seeing. We've already booked our next trip and that really says it all.

We've been on 3 trips through Mark and have already booked a fourth so that should tell you how highly we rate Mark. Nothing is too much trouble for Mark and he understands how we like to holiday. We are always excited by the ideas he has for our trips and his enthusiasm for Japan is contagious.

The Shinkansen times were appropriate and the pick up times for the cars worked very well.

6. Please comment on any professional guiding included in your package?
Finn Sands-Davies was excellent for our food tour. We'd previously done a day tour with him in Tokyo so it was wonderful to see him in Kyoto. Akie Watanabe was wonderful for our full day trip in Kyoto. She was wonderful and patient with the boys and we totally enjoyed our time with her. Rika Fujiwara took us on a full day trip in Hiroshima and we absolutely loved her too. Taking us through the Hiroshima Museum wasn't easy when it's busy but she handled it superbly and kept our boys interested as well. The trip to Miyojima was excellent, even though it was raining. Yumi Tokudome was our full day guide for Kagoshima and she really looked after us as well. It was another showery day but she kept the boys entertained all day and she was such a happy person to be with. We had Cameron Joyce as our guide on Yakushima and he was excellent even though it was raining most of the time he was with us. He kept us entertained with never ending stories of life on Yakushima and took us on a walk that was truly magical. Our last guide was Yap Mulder. He took us to a temple before dinner and then to two izakayas. He was entertaining and really knew which food to order which is the whole reason for having a guide.
