1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
The IJT website was easy to navigate and the booking process was straightforward. My not having to pay a single supplement was much appreciated and a material inducement for my selection of IJT. Aside from that, I am not aware of any particular services that IJT as the tour operator rendered directly to me.

2. Tour Leader name and satisfaction rating
Wow. I can't overstate how fantastic Antonio French was as our tour leader. There were 14 of us on the tour, and at least one of us messed up in some way almost every day (e.g., overslept, lost or misused his or her preloaded transit card, got separated from the group, had phone/sim card troubles, got sick, or got too drunk to make it back to the hotel/ryokan). In each instance it was Antonio to the rescue, unflappable, calm, in charge and effective. Everyone in our group spoke English but not much Japanese. In Antonio we had a native English speaker who also speaks fluent Japanese, and so we could hear and understand his insightful commentary, something not possible with the heavily accented English spoken by many native Japanese-speaking tour leaders. We were so grateful for that. An he knows a lot about everything we encountered on the tour. No matter the question posed, Antonio was able to offer an informed and cogent response. An incredible resource. And so dedicated: each night he spent hours preparing for the next day's tour activities. I don't know where he got the energy and enthusiasm that he gave to us each day. On top of that, Antonio is the nicest, kindest person you'll ever meet (and a very talented signer to boot). Every person in our group absolutely loved Antonio, and now you know why.

Kassondra Ptak, my travel consultant, provided great service for me. She answered all my questions during and after the booking process and was consistently friendly, responsive, competent and knowledgeable. I could not have asked for more.
