1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
Overall, Inside Japan provided an easy to use payment portal and excellent general information about Japan and what to expect on the tour. The 5 cities in 10 day tour was ambitious, but manageable for a relatively fit almost 70 year old, The 17,000 steps on the first day was too much for some members of the group, but it made it easier for those of us to break off and slow down a bit, while the rest of the group cracked on. The cities, sites and experiences curated, fit the bill of a Must-See Japan tour.

Akemi was excellent and was always flexible and easy going. She adapted to the groups moods and needs. Her knowledge of Japanese history and the areas we visited was thorough and extraordinary. When my knee started acting up, she provided alternative routes and transport options to keep me up with the group. I could not have had a better, more caring or more knowledgeable tour leader.

Due to staffing changes, my travel consultant was replaced after booking but before departure, and to be honest, there was not much contact. I'm not completely sure I knew what their role was, except to have our flights and paperwork in order.

I would have paid more to have a larger room.

Bullet Trains - great Subway pass - great Times when taxis made sense - well considered

Akemi did a great job of introducing us to the culinary specialities of each of the cities we visited. Her suggestions for meals on our own, and the restaurants selected for included meals were always a cultural experience, and delicious!

I selected the Must-See tour because there are so many places I want to travel, so a return trip to Japan is unlikely in my lifetime. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed it and am extremely happy I experienced Japan.
