1. Eligibility and Entry
Only entries submitted following the specified entry mechanics will be deemed valid entries.
Eligibility starts at the point of booking confirmation, and the deposit being paid.
Entry is automatic upon making a qualifying booking and does not require any additional payment.
1 in 25 bookings will win their trip free.
Participants must enter valid names and email addresses. Incomplete or fraudulent entries will be disallowed.
Entry is free and open to residents of Australia aged 18 or over who submit a valid entry to the competition.
Employees of the promoter or provider, all other prize partners, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion, and their families, are excluded from entering this competition.
2. Prize Details
Prize provided by Inside Travel Group.
One booking in the pool of every 25 bookings will be deemed a winner. The winner will receive their booked trip free, with a deposit refund.
The maximum value of the reward is $40,000 AUD.
If a booking of greater value than $40,000AUD wins, then Inside Travel Group will contribute $40,000 AUD of that booking.
The total prize pool is $500,000 and may be reduced if fewer qualifying entries are received, but Inside Travel Group reserve the right to scale the prize pool to match demand.
Minimum booking value to qualify for entry is $1,500 AUD.
Prize winners will be drawn at the end of the promotional period, determined by Inside Travel Group.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
The prize does not include transfers within Australia to or from the airport, nor does it include international flights. These will be the responsibility of the winner(s).
The free trip must be taken between 1st January 2026 and 31st December 2027, subject to availability, and must fall within Inside Travel Groups offered range of trips and experiences.
The winner(s) of the prizes agree to take part in reasonable publicity by entering the competition and will agree to providing digital content in the form of photographs and video from their trip.
The prize draw will take place within Australia at Inside Travel Group’s Australian office, under the supervision of authorised staff, within 10 business days of closing.
If prizes are unclaimed within 1 month of the announcement date, the right is reserved to re-select a winner.
This promotion and entry to it is valid for residents of QLD, VIC and NSW only.
3. Winner Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the winner(s) to ensure they have a valid passport and obtain any necessary travel insurance, vaccinations or applicable visas for their trip. No responsibility will be taken if the winner/s are unable to travel due to insufficient documentation.
Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations before travel.
Any costs incurred from changes post booking, such as a name change or other amends, are the winner’s responsibility to pay.
The winner is responsible for getting to any departure points (for flights etc.), in time for security checks and the check-in procedures on the day of departure. Travel costs to airports are at the winner’s own expense.
4. Cancellations and Force Majeure
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Provider, they reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion at any time and without notice.
This also applies to any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation, or if travel would be contrary to UK Foreign Office advice, or if circumstances arise outside of its control that prevent the implementation of the prize.
If circumstances arise beyond the control of the promoter that materially impact the conduct of the promotion, Inside Travel Group reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the promotion, subject to approval from NSW Fair Trading where required.
5. Record Keeping
Record retention related to the draw will be at least 12 months from the end of the promotional period.

6. Choosing Winners
The winners will be chosen at random from those participants whose entries have booked a trip that matches eligibility criteria with either InsideJapan Tours or InsideAsia Tours between 29th October – 20th December, 2025. The campaign start date is subject to approval of promotional rules by NSW government.
We will aim to contact the winner by email within two business days of the draw, and details will be provided via email on how to claim and book the prize.
In the event that the prize notification email is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternative winner will be selected from all remaining (non-winning) eligible entries.
The winner must confirm acceptance in writing of the prize and these terms and conditions within 30 days of being contacted by Inside Travel Group. If the prize is not claimed within 30 days, an alternative winner will be selected.
If for any reason a winner drops out of the prize due to health or personal reasons, Inside Travel Group has the right to select another winner at its discretion.
The Promoter and Provider do not accept any responsibility if the winner is unable to accept the prize.
Inside Travel Group accept no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. The Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable for other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash.
7. Liability
Inside Travel Group and any associated party accept no liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered whatsoever (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss and whether or not arising from any person's negligence) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case such liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).
Inside Travel Group is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
8. Privacy and Data Use
Inside Travel Group will only use entrants’ personal data for direct marketing purposes where consent has been provided via the opt-in check boxes provided in keeping with the Australian Privacy Principles.
This includes communications containing news, offers and information.
We may also share the winner/s personal information, if opt-in consent has been given, with third parties, to help manage our business and deliver services. These third parties may include service providers who perform functions on our behalf such as sending emails, analysis of data, or providing marketing assistance.
Personal data will be managed in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and may be shared with service providers engaged to assist in administering this promotion.
You have the right to opt-out at any time, by following the links in the communications to you.
Inside Travel Group will collect contact information about entrants in order to contact them about the promotion and where appropriate award prizes and may also use the information to assist the Provider in improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with special offers via any medium including mail and commercial electronic messages only where consent has been granted.
9. Prize Acceptance
The prize must be taken as stated within the competition terms and conditions and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
The competition will be governed by New South Wales & Australian Law.
10. Manner of Announcing Prize Winners
Prize winners will be determined via a random draw conducted by Inside Travel Group at the end of the promotional period, from all eligible entries received between the campaign period.
Winners will be notified directly via email using the contact details provided at the time of entry.
Each winner will be given 30 days to confirm acceptance of the prize. If the prize is not claimed within that time or the winner cannot be contacted, a redraw will occur from the remaining eligible entries at the same location and under the same conditions as the original draw.
All draw records and winner notifications will be retained to ensure compliance with the NSW Community Gaming Act 2018 and Community Gaming Regulation 2020.

11. Resolving Disputes
Any complaints or disputes regarding the conduct of the promotion or the awarding of prizes must be submitted in writing to Inside Travel Group within 14 days of the prize draw or notification date.
All reasonable efforts will be made to resolve disputes promptly and fairly.
If a resolution cannot be reached internally, the dispute may be referred to an independent third party or regulator, such as NSW Fair Trading, for further review.
The promoter’s decision regarding all matters in connection with the competition is final, subject to applicable laws and regulatory oversight.
This promotion is governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
