Celebrity beauties appear at Tokyo fashion show
Two beauty award-holders were among the famous faces at a recent fashion show in Japan's capital.

Held on Thursday for the promotion of Lycra, the show was attended by Lee Ji-sun and Hiroko Mima, respectively Miss South Korea and Miss Universe Japan, reports Mainichi Daily News.

The event took place at Laforet Museum in the Roppongi district of Tokyo with both stars wearing outfits made from Lycra fibres.

Commenting on Ms Mima and the forthcoming Miss Universe 2008, Ms Lee said: "Hiroko is beautiful in appearance but boyish inside. I want her and myself to compete in the final."

She added: "I want to represent the beauty of Asian women. I promise to turn my confidence into charm to get a good result at the … contest."

This year's Miss Universe competition, an event with a history spanning more than 50 years, will be held in Vietnam.
