The 3 private guides were all excellent, flexible and able to provide local history and culture. The 2 additional group guides were also fun and provided great insight. Meg Yamagute- great introduction to Tokyo and Japan Kyoko Miyazaki- good Kyoto knowledge and insight Juno Ogawa- Geisha tour - fun punk attitude Mari Yamaguchi- contacted me ahead of time, and had everything organised for Naoshima. Her knowledge of the art that we saw was extensive. Bsoulte Osake food tour- great way to get into the Osaka zone

I think that the self directed tour and activities were great for a solo traveller. If I was going by myself again, I would book again. If I was with someone else I would have to think about it.
