1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
We had already booked our flights with BA and asked the company to do the rest. It worked seamlessly with a car picking us up in Tokyo and dropping us at the hotel when we arrived. All ticketing, hotels and guides booked where we agreed in advance including airport drop off when we left. It was really useful to have a guide right at the beginning to explain the train stations and lead us through for our subsequent travel in Toyko, topping up the Manaka card and wider use of the card in vending machines etc. Hotels we booked were excellent variety but the hotel in Matsumoto was very down at heel and although we arrived early afternoon they could not provide a dinner and it appeared that on Mondays a lot of restaurants are closed anyway ! However a staff member on the desk found us an excellent small restaurant nearby which was really excellent and probably a better bet. Luggage forwarding is an excellent idea and glad we were told about it. Japan has some amazing shopping we did come with extra capacity and sent a case back to a hotel in Toyko, 8 days before we were due to stay there.

2. Consultant name and satisfaction rating:
When our consultant was away, other staff took over and attend to our queries as well , so there was back up when required. We wanted an art and architecture tour and in Kyoto we had a good guide for a half day tour. A lot of our trip was self guided but this is what we preferred.
