1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
I really enjoyed the tour. I went to places that I would not have seen on my own the guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The group of 14 was the right size. It was fun to take local transportation. My post-tour add-on was a highlight of the trip. I felt fully engaged and well taken care of.

Anthony was enthusiastic, friendly, responsive. He worked hard, arranging train tickets, advising on things to do during free time. He very patiently spent more than an hour waiting with me and another tour member, in the station to buy Shinkansen tickets. I have been studying Japanese, and he was helpful with my questions about the language. I wish him well.

The Kyoto hotel location was not ideal.

6. Please give us your comments on the transport included in your package.
I enjoyed the variety of transport, and I appreciated being given an IC card, which I plan to use on future visits to Japan. It was great, not having to worry about buying train tickets! It was so much better than being ferried around in enormous tour buses.

7. Please tell us your thoughts on the meals included during your tour.
The food was fine, although I would have appreciated at least one meal at a more upscale restaurant - either courtesy of the tour or by recommendation on a free day.

I would plan to spend more time in Japan on my own, but some of your tours also looked interesting. As I did this time, I might spend some time on my own and then join a tour to a different area of Japan. If so, I would be happy to use IJT again.
