Some of Hollywood's brightest stars were seen in the Land of the Rising Sun at the
Tokyo premiere of the new blockbuster Terminator Salvation.
Director McG and principal actors Christian Bale, Bryce Dallas Howard, Moon Bloodgood and Anton Yelchin were joined on the red carpet by former
Japanese baseball star Kazuhiro Kiyohara.
The latest movie in the hit action franchise made its Japanese debut at LaLaport Toyosu ahead of its national release on June 13th.
Commenting on his role in the film, Bale said: "People come to a Terminator movie for the Terminators and the action. I don't mind essentially playing second fiddle to a Terminator."
The Terminators are not the only Hollywood robots set to hit
Tokyo this month.
June 8th will see the world premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen take place in
Tokyo, with Eigo.com stating that director Michael Bay and stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are expected to be in attendance.
