The
Tokyo Art Book Fair, one of the largest of its kind on the Asian continent, will be returning to the Japanese capital next month for the third time.
Around 6,000 visitors are expected to flock to 3331 Arts Chiyoda in Sotokanda Chiyoda-ku for the annual
festival. In a statement on the website, the organisers of the book fair revealed what people can expect to see at the fair - and also revealed that they have keeping well up to date with current technology.
"Visitors can expect a complete range of arts publishers, from self-publishing artists to independent-publishers and established arts publishing houses," the statement reads.
"Starting this year, we are also accepting submissions from creators of e-books and smart phone [and] tablet apps."
An art book is a text that can either be non-fiction about the history of art, or a piece of artistic work presented as a cohesive piece.
Entry to the event is free, but there is a suggested donation of 500 yen (£3.80).
