Japan welcomes world touring car championship
UK driver Rob Huff has finished in the top three at the latest touring car championship race in Japan.

It means Huff is now fourth overall in the championship, with Gabriele Tarquini leading this year's competition.

The race was held at Japan's Okayama International circuit and included 14 laps of the track per race.

Huff welcomed Japan's wet weather conditions and he succeeded in winning one race and finishing fourth in the second.

"We are absolutely delighted with the results in Japan," explained Huff.

"We wanted the rain because we knew it was going to level all cars. It was not easy to guess the right set-up, as the rain only appeared on race day, but we started from last year's data and that was the right move."

The final meeting of the championship will take place in December in Macau, China.
