Manga & Anime drawing class
Japan is the home of manga and anime and for enthusiasts we can arrange a class which will teach someof main techniques for creating your own manga and anime.
You will be visiting the well regarded Yoyogi Animation School for a 3 hour lesson. Starting from learning how to hold a pencil correctly you will be able to learn about the unique techniques needed to draw anime cells and moving images. Discover how to create multiple frames and start your own anime story.
Concentrate on aspects of manga drawing such as 'dip-pen' technique, 'screen-tone' technique or colour drawing.
The teachers are happy to review previous work if you wish as well. Please note that only basic English is spoken and that you will be joining a small class of people each working on their own projects.
Available most of the year - please ask us for details.
