Our Services

InsideJapan Tours is a Japan only specialist and we offer a full range of different styles of holiday and a full range of services. On this page we explain a little bit more about what we do and how we work.

Our Japan holidays fall into three main categories. These are Small Group Tours, Self-Guided Adventures and Fully Tailored Trips. Each of these is available through the main navigation above. We also sell the Japan Rail Pass for those people who wish to make there own arrangements in Japan but want to take advantage of this great value transport pass.

Small Group Tours Our small group tours are exactly what they say they are - tours of Japan with a tour leader and a maximum group size of 14. We have 10 different itineraries to choose from with departures throughout the year. View all Small Group Tours Our group tours are flexible and fun - designed for travellers who like to really get under the skin of a country and to experience every day life as well as the main tourist sights all in the company of like-minded companions. Our itineraries cover the whole of the country (with the exception of Okinawa but we're working on that!) and offer a wide range of experiences - from the rural hideaways of the Tohoku region to the temples and shrines of Kyoto. On our Japan group tours you'll be accompanied by an experienced tour leader who has lived and worked in Japan extensively and speaks Japanese. Your tour leader will bring all sorts of personal insights to the trip and will introduce you to some of their favourite things about Japan - especially food!		Self-Guided Adventures For those who like to travel indepently our Self-Guided Adventures are the perfect place to start planning your trip. We have designed all sorts of itineraries that can be taken at any time of year. These follow a variety of different themes such as Traditional Japan, or Hot Springs of Japan but each provides a wonderfully varied and rich experience of the country. View all Self-Guided Adventures All of our Self-Guided Adventures in Japan include at least one day with a private guide to both provide that little bit of extra detail but also to provide orientation and those little tips on how to get on best in Japan. Our individually tailored Info-Pack is also a key part of any Self-Guided Adventure and will help keep you on the right track throughout your trip. The Self-Guided Adventures also make the perfect starting point for planning your trip. They are packed with fabulous itinerary ideas and we are quite happy for you to mix and match to make an itinerary that is just right for you.		Fully Tailored Trips Do you want to dive amongst the manta ray of Ishigaki Island? Or perhaps cut tracks through the fresh powder snow of Niseko resort? Or is treking the lush forests of the Kirishima National Park in Kyushu more your thing? Perhaps you are on an extra tight budget or want that something extra special for your honeymoon. Whatever your interests, your budget and your dreams we can help you have the Japan holiday of a lifetime. Our expert travel consultants have all lived and worked in Japan and perhaps most importantly, have a real passion for the country. They will work closely together with you to make your dreams a reality. Choosing where to go and what to see and do can be really difficult. The Info-Pack

Travelling in a foreign country can be an exciting and exhilarating experience. However, it always helps to have a helping hand with the practical details. Japan is an incredibly different place and at first can seem quite overwhelming. However, our personalised Info-Pack, provided for every Japan trip with InsideJapan Tours is tailored precisely to your itinerary. It includes the following:

All the transport information you will need in English and in Japanese. This includes timetables where appropriate, details of all transfers and how to get to stations all helping make sure that your arrangements will go without a hitch
All accommodation information with addresses in English and in Japanese (vital if you want to take a taxi or ask passers by for help with directions) and maps
All the details you need for your extra excursions and events you may be attending
Helpful tips on eating out, etiquette and all those vital bits of practical information - such as cash machine hours!!
An individual destination guide for each place you will be visiting on your trip
The Info-Pack is put together by hand for each Self-Guided Adventure and Fully Tailored Trip and we are sure like so many of our customers to date, this will become your trip 'bible' and help ensure you have a fantastic time in Japan.
