The
Fuji Rock Festival comes to the
Naeba Ski Resort in Japan.
Situated up in the mountains, the
festival consists of various stages and venues - such as the Green Stage, the Red Maquee and Rookie A Go-Go.
The themes of this year's event are independence, cooperation and respect for nature.
Artists performing at the
festival include My Bloody Valentine, Kasabian, Primal Scream and Travis.
Other British acts will also be appearing, such as Asian Dub Foundation, Bloc Party, The Futureheads and Feeder.
Ukulele fans will able to catch virtuoso performer Jake Shimabukuro demonstrating his incredible talent for playing the instrument, while gypsy punk aficionados can catch Gogol Bordello who will play on the White Stage.
In keeping with the environmentally friendly ethos of the event, over 150,000 plastic bottles collected at last year's
festival will be transformed into 2,000 jackets for staff members and 120,000 rubbish bags.
The event runs from July 25th - 27th.
