Ever since we began life in 2000, InsideJapan Tours has been built on a genuine passion for travel and adventure, and this continues to be reflected in the love and curiosity for Japan that is shared by each member of our ever-expanding team.

Today, InsideJapan Tours has four offices across the world. Our main headquarters is located in Bristol, UK, where the past couple of years have seen our numbers swell to 55 members (and still growing!).

Our Japan office is based in the centre of Nagoya and is the operational hub of InsideJapan Tours, which includes our customer support help desk. From just four full-time staff we now have 20 dedicated team members, whose hard work and attention to detail ensure that our clients have a stress-free time during their stay in Japan.

Our home in the USA is Boulder, Colorado. This is our base for US sales, and our staff members currently number just 18 - although this is bound to change!

Finally, our newest office opened in August 2016 down under in Brisbane, Australia. With four founding members we look forward to seeing this branch go from strength to strength.

If you have a genuine love of Japan, experience of living and working in Japan and speak Japanese to at least a good conversational standard, then we would love to hear from you.     PR and Marketing specialists required for the US and UK offices

  • US Head of Marketing

    US office in Boulder, Colorado

    InsideAsia Tours is looking to recruit a talented, creative, results-driven individual to head up the fledgling marketing department at its US Branch located in downtown Boulder. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of planning and executing lead-generating marketing campaigns, and will possess the skills to measure the success of those activities. Experience within the travel industry will be highly beneficial, as will direct experience of people management, experience of setting and managing marketing budgets and proven abilities as a team player. 

    You will be the first senior marketing appointment for the branch, and will be charged with driving the growth of revenue and market share through the design and implementation of marketing strategies. You will be working across both online and offline channels to reach target audiences which you will have a role in defining. You will be able to step quickly into this semi-independent role, understand the needs of the US sales team and develop your strategies based upon these needs. You will need to collaborate with UK-based marketing management, product management, web development, and content and graphic design teams, to ensure cohesive roll-out of marketing programs via all media.

    InsideAsia Tours is looking for a talented, creative, target-driven and enthusiastic individual to join the in-house PR & Marketing team at this award-winning specialist travel company. The candidate will ideally be bursting with ideas and inspiration and will have experience running social media campaigns, buying and managing online advertising and measuring the success of digital marketing activity.

    You will be charged with helping drive company growth through the successful implementation of a wide range of social media marketing activity. You will work with the other members of the team and external partners to develop overall strategy. You will be developing metrics by which to analyse the success of the company's social media marketing and will use these to refine general activity and campaigns to be more effective in future. Your primary focus will be on utilising social media platforms to grow our base of followers, generate new leads and increase engagement with the brands.

  • Senior IT Support Technician

    UK office in Bristol

    InsideAsia Tours is looking for a self-driven, adaptable Senior IT Support Technician with a genuine enthusiasm and passion for IT, to join the in-house IT Department at this growing, award-winning specialist travel company. The candidate will ideally be a patient, understanding team player, with the ability to reassure users when providing a first-class IT Support experience. Candidates will have a logical approach to problem solving and be adaptive in using troubleshooting techniques.

    You will be providing a mixture of first and second line IT Support, both face-to-face and remotely, for 130 staff located in four different offices worldwide. You will be responsible for the running of the day-to-day duties of the IT department in the Bristol office, reporting to the IT Manager. This will be a semi-independent role, so self-motivation, and a drive for self-learning are key requirements for successful candidates. You will complete IT project work and assist or take the lead in rolling out new technologies which benefit the company. You should have a desire for improving and streamlining processes, and have a high level of attention to detail in all of your work. You will need good communication skills to meet our goal of being a transparent IT Department and to ensure the best service to the end users.

    InsideAsia's client systems are Microsoft Windows based networked together with a virtualized server environment built upon a high availability fabric in case of failover. Many of our end users work via Remote Desktop Services either from one of our four offices worldwide or from home.

    The Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading and motivating their team to exceed the team sales targets and deliver top customer service. They will ensure that each team member's sales and customer service meet company expectations and that company values are being promoted and adhered to. They are responsible for identifying development needs and knowledge gaps, and play a key role in designing and delivering training and support, and ensuring its ongoing implementation. They are the first point of escalation for any problems and should authorise suitable action by their team in the majority of cases.

    They report to the Sales Director and work closely with other Team Leaders to promote best practice and ensure peer-to-peer learning.
