Steven was absolutely brilliant from out first call right until after we arrived home. Inside Japan provided a fantastic experience which we really enjoyed

The ryokan in Takayama was not as nice as the one we had in Hakone (Tonosawa), so we felt we had been “spoiled” by our first one! The hosts in the second while welcoming spoke little English and there wasn’t much English signage in the ryokan. The food however was extremely good in the second

Japan rail pass was brilliant value for money

Our guide Thomas in Tokyo was exceptional and so useful. Sumi in Kyoto was lovely
