  1. 1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?

    Excellent

    This was our second trip to Japan, both trips were self-guided tours booked with InsideJapan, and both experiences were exceptional in all regards. InsideJapan customized the this trip to fit our timeframe and interests (extra days in Tokyo and Kyoto, but omitting Osaka). We are foodies, and IJ worked very hard to help us find restaurants that appealed to our tastes. The level of detail in directions and guides is just right we had no significant problems in the various rail and ferry connections.

    Amy was once again very knowledgable, flexible, responsive and creative in addressing our goals and interests for the trip.

    Met my expectations

    Enjoyed Park Hotel, as we did on first trip serene transition for Western traveler to Tokyo The Screen was decent and well located good front desk Cycle Hotel Omnichi was clearly for the younger, hipper set but okay Japanese hotel on Omishima Island was a bit of a challenge for Westerners bu okay for one night. JR Hotel Clement a bit bleak had restaurant normally used for breakfast closed for renovation. Front desk was helpful in booking the restaurant we wanted Please see earlier comment about Benesse House. A couple of staff had just a hint of snottiness.

    The IJT package relieved a vast amount of the stress involved in a self-guided trip to a non-Western country. Support before and during trip was excellent. Ability to gracefully customize tour was superb.
