  1. 1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?


    We don't want to sound like alcoholics but we never had success with finding somewhere for a pre dinner drink,even the Palace in Tokyo looked astounded when we went down.Also couldn't get over the cover charges in some of the bars in the Hotels ( Clement).Rated the Ryokan stay over the 'western style' Hotels & it suited us to discover the delights (& in some cases shocks!) of Japanese food rather than face picking a restaurant & feeling a bit daunted by the price & choice.Was rather dreading the Onsen experience & we loved it!The pillows in the Ryoken' s did rather feel like sleeping on a packet of Rice Crispies - it was 'snap,crackle & pop',The Futon's were ( on the whole) so comfortable though.In retrospect we wished that we had walked the whole Kumano Kodo - there was such camaraderie on the walk & we felt rather sad when we left after 3 days.Would regard Naoshima Island as an absolute highlight.

  4. 4. How would you rate the accommodation against your expectations?

    Met my expectations

    Fusako on Ishigaki a bit worse than we expected.Room fine but the dining area was a bit like being in a camp!Food very good & staff helpful.Lack of a bar huge for us as no chance for drinks before supper.Appreciate though it was the best alternative to stay at on the island.Best accommodation which exceeded everything was Fusho Farmhouse in Iya Valley.

  5. 5. Please give us your comments on the transport included in your package.

    Very good. Faultless. Regarding one train connection from ferry in Wakayama to train station - it was too tight.Only 2 taxi's at ferry & red lights against us for what was an 18 min trip -we had help from a young Japanese or we wouldn't have made it but the train was 1 minute late ( unusual in Japan!) & we made it by 30 seconds.Would have appreciated info on what to do if we missed it as would have affected the beginning of the walk.
