Our team at Inside Japan Tours
The sun never sets on the InsideJapan Tours team (well, maybe on Sundays) as we have offices in Bristol (UK), Boulder, (USA), Brisbane (Australia) and Nagoya (Japan). On this page you can meet the people behind our Japan tours and holidays.
We have a wide range of backgrounds and interests, but you can be sure that the one thing that ties us all together is a love of Japan, Japanese culture and a passionate desire to share that with other people.
From the accounts department, through the travel consultant teams to the tour leaders and guides on the ground, you can rest assured that everything we do is to make sure you have the best possible experience of Japan.

Having swapped the tiny hamlet of Meadwell in Devon for the bright lights of Tokyo and Berlin, Jenny loves nothing more than immersing herself in different cultures and meeting people from across the world.
From her first introduction to Nintendo and Japanese lessons aged 11, Jenny has been hooked by Japanese culture - so much so that she spent a year abroad in Tokyo as part of her university studies, and has just completed a master's dissertation on traditional Japanese art.
And her love affair with all things Japanese doesn't stop there - it would be a close call between okonomiyaki and chicken katsu for her desert island dinner, and her love of old school Japanese video games (Zelda in particular) is still going strong.
As much as she enjoyed her time in the big city, Jenny favours a quieter pace of life. Amongst the highlights of her time in Japan were visits to the zen temples of Kamakura, and a particularly magical winter trip to Nikko to see a snow topped Toshogu shrine. During a 9-month stint teaching English in Hungary, she embraced local life by getting involved in the summer festivals in the lakeside town of Tata.
Now settled back in the South-West, this globe-trotter continues to embrace a few more sedate past-times, including knitting, drawing and painting, going for walks in the countryside and playing with her canine friends. She's a dark horse though - ask her about the time she rubbed shoulders with Steven Spielberg in her local pub?
