If you have heard of just one winter sport resort in Japan, it is bound to be Niseko. And for good reason! Niseko is Hokkaido's (and perhaps all of Japan's) premier winter sports resort. Niseko's holy trinity of selling points are its sheer size, the snow itself (quality, quantity and reliability!), and its foreigner-friendly facilities and setup.
More than any other resort in Japan, Niseko has opened its doors to overseas skiers and boarders (particularly from Australia), and now provides the perfect mixture of western familiarity and comfort, with a sprinkling of Japanese atmosphere. Add in some fanastic light-up night skiing (included with the pass we provide) and you have got a great resort for a really fun winter holiday.
A one-night stay in Tokyo bookends your 6 nights in Niseko. You will be based in the amazing Shinjuku district of Tokyo, with the best of modern Japan on your doorstep. Shinjuku is also the place to celebrate the start and end of your holiday in style, with Tokyo's biggest and best selection of restaurants, bars and entertainment.
The journey to and from Niseko is by domestic flight, then a bus transfer to head up into the mountains. With 6 nights on the slopes you will have 5 full days to enjoy over 40km of runs, plus some of Japan's best off-piste and backcountry skiing. By night Niseko comes to life, with a great village atmosphere and bars and restaurants offering everything from traditional Japanese to a taste of home, wherever you are from!
Love your winter sports but looking for somewhere different this year? Travelled to Japan before for sightseeing and yearn to return, but don't want to miss out on your annual ski holiday? Niseko is the place for you - don't miss out!

Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 Tokyo
Watch out Tokyo; here I come! Welcome to this amazing metropolis, and enjoy a night out among the bright lights before you head north to hit the slopes. The vibrant Shinjuku district is your base for the night, and is a great place to dive headlong into modern Japan at its best.
Day 2 Niseko
Today it’s off to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport for a 90-min domestic flight up to Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport. There you will be met on arrival and provided with tickets for your bus transfer to Niseko (around 2hr 30mins).
Day 3 to Day 7 Niseko
Time to hit the slopes! Your included All Mountain Lift Pass covers the whole of the Niseko resort, so you will be spoilt for choice over the next few days. The resort is split into three main areas, Grand Hirafu, Annupuri and Niseko Village, with over 30 lifts and gondolas providing access to the whole mountain. As well as exploring on your own, you might want to tap up some local expertise and join a group (or have your own private guide) and head out into Niseko’s legendary backcountry to experience the best of those hidden powder spots! Guiding and tours can easily be added to your trip; just ask. And the action doesn’t stop after dark; your lift passes include night skiing, or head down to the village for a cold beer and some sushi/pizza/curry!
Day 8 Tokyo
Time to return to Tokyo. After a bus transfer back to the airport you will fly back south to Tokyo, where you can enjoy a final night back among the neon lights before heading home tomorrow. Don’t forget your souvenir shopping for those jealous folk back home!
Day 9 Depart
Sadly it is time to leave Japan! The Airport Limousine Bus will take you in speed and comfort from Shinjuku to the door of the airport. Have a safe flight!
